Following acceptance into the Law Forum, students complete 5 courses (3 required, and 2 electives) to earn a certificate of program completion.

3 Law Forum Required Courses:

This small, team-based course introduces an array of oral and written advocacy techniques and involves students in a series of in-class speaking exercises and team debates. Students also receive upper division writing credit for this rigorous course.

This course explores the human dynamics behind the legal system.  Topics of discussion include legal ethics, modern legal education and the evolving roles of lawyers and judges.

Students admitted into the Law Forum program will participate in at least one quarter of mentorship by a UCI law student and/or local attorney.

*In addition, please see the list of courses available to satisfy the 2 Elective Courses.
