The School of Social Sciences is pleased to announce the winners of the 2022-23 Dean’s Awards for Outstanding Teaching:

  • Guillaume Rocheteau – Economics, School of Social Sciences Dr. Joseph L. White Award for Outstanding Mentorship
  • Lauren Ross – Logic of Philosophy and Science, Dean’s Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching
  • Sara Mednick – Cognitive Sciences, Dean’s Award for Outstanding Teaching Innovation

Faculty were nominated for one of three awards to recognize outstanding teaching in the School of Social Sciences. In addition to teaching excellence, the awards recognize a commitment to inclusive excellence and dedication to higher education through the use of innovative methods and mentorship. The selection was done by the school’s Executive Committee. The recipients each receive a $2,000 research stipend.
