Alphabet Inc.’s Google agreed to pay $118 million to settle a gender discrimination lawsuit with about 15,500 female employees, lawfirms representing the women said in a statement. … The women leading the Google suit said in a court filing that the company paid female employees approximately $16,794 less per year than a “the similarly situated man,” citing an analysis by David Neumark, an economist [and Distinguished Professor] at University of California, Irvine.
