Governor urged to review new research before deciding on minimum-wage hike

David Neumark, [Distinguished Professor of economics], along with colleagues Priyaranjan Jha [professor of economics] and Antonio Rodriguez-Lopez, [associate professor of economics] all of the University of California, Irvine, recently examined a popular 2010 paper often cited in defense of minimum-wage increases and found its methodology to be inadequate and its conclusion erroneous.
