Anthropology Professor Roxanne Varzi's play “splinters of a careless alphabet” was read at the American Anthropological Association 2018 meetings and UCI graduate students did a reprise of the reading for the UCI 2019 Anthropology in Transit conference. Professor Varzi's second film, “Tehran tourist” had a sneak peek in November at the UCI Persian center and there wasstanding room only! Professor Varzi is also very excited to teach new graduate course called multimodal anthropology in the spring. She also recently appeared in February on KUSCi ask a leader.
