Menopausal women are defying the Old Lady’s stereotype

A 2015 study by academics at the University of California at Irvine and Tulane University found “robust evidence of age discrimination in hiring against older women”. Women found it significantly harder to find jobs than older men because they were dealing with double doses of prejudice: age and gender discrimination.
