Well-groomed men earn more than their scruffy counterparts, study finds

A study from the University of Chicago and UC Irvine has found that being well-groomed and presentable may have a massive impact on your salary, as much as a $14k (£11k) difference. … The study explains: “We find that attractive individuals earn roughly 20 percent more than people of average attractiveness, but this gap is reduced when controlling for grooming, suggesting that the beauty premium can be actively cultivated.”
