- Toward an Understanding of Parochial Observables
Ben Feintzeig, a rising fifth year student in LPS, recently had a paper accepted by the British Journal for Philosophy of Science, one of the top two journals in the world in philosophy of science. The paper, titled "Toward an Understanding of Parochial Observables," develops a response to an argument, due to Ruetsche and others, that a certain approach to interpreting quantum theories cannot make sense of many observable quantities that we believe have clear empirical significance. This paper is adapted from a chapter of Feintzeig's dissertation. Congratulations, Ben!
