From the New York Daily News:
It's a dream that's now one step closer to reality: a generation of college graduates
who majored in "The Walking Dead" with a minor in "Game of Thrones." The University
of California, Irvine Wednesday announced the launch of a free, open online course
built on AMC's major cult hit "The Walking Dead." "The Walking Dead" provides "many
poignant case-studies related to the scholarly areas covered in the course," says
Dr. Bic, "and it helps that it's one of TV's most popular shows. "There will be something
for everyone in this course, which will explore concepts as varied as post-disaster
nutrition, the foundations of human survival and stereotypes in a Darwinian environment.
