Can you believe it? Our wildly dysfunctional Congress just took another step in the
wrong direction. "Just when you thought things couldn't get worse, it gets worse,"
said an exasperated Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid after Republicans blocked former
GOP Senator Chuck Hagel's nomination to become defense secretary from coming to a
vote… Kevin O'Leary is a journalist and political scientist at the Center for the
