CSD fellows find career success despite tough job market
- May 18, 2010
In a really really really bad job market, I am delighted to report that most CSD Democracy Fellows on the job market got jobs or post-doctoral fellowships. Chris Stout will be an Assistant Professor at Wellesley, a top liberal arts school; Reuben Kline has an excellent one year Max Weber Research Post-doc at the European University Institute, Florence, one of the best graduate programs in political science in Europe; and Amy Alexander has a multi-year research post-doc at Leuphana University, Luneburg, Germany. Ngu-nhoc Ong is the managing editor of the major Orange County Vietnamese-American newspaper; and Bruce Hemmer got a job at the State Department as a Conflict Prevention Officer with responsibilities to assist U.S. embassies. (His job also has some "think tank" aspects.)
