Has antisemitism increased at UC Campuses over the past seven months? This talk presents the results of a new survey of 2200 undergraduate students at four UC campuses. Using a battery of questions, it assesses the dimensions, strength, and correlates of antisemitic attitudes at UC Irvine, UCLA, UC Riverside, and UC Merced. It also examines the degree to which attitudes towards Jews and Israel are produced on or off campus and measures whether choice of major and course of study affect student attitudes. Although student attitudes broadly reflect those of the broader society, the data reveal a significant uptick in antisemitic attitudes among undergraduates across all surveyed campuses since October 7, 2023.
