Roger Congleton is the BB&T Professor of Economics at West Virginia University.  He is also co-editor of Constitutional Political Economy.  Congleton’s research has focused on the role of institutions and norms in economic and political life. His published work includes over a hundred academic papers and book chapters and several books. His most recent books are: A Companion to the Political Economy of Rent Seeking (2015, Edited with Arye Hillman) and Perfecting Parliament: Liberalism and the Rise of Western Democracy (2011).
