Guests are invited to immerse themselves in captivating performances that embody the spirit of the Lunar New Year. At the Wishing Tree, they can make heartfelt wishes for health, prosperity, and good fortune, creating a dazzling display of collective hopes. Each moment is filled with joy and cultural richness, leaving a lasting impression that extends well beyond the celebration.
This cherished tradition is made possible through the generous support of the UC Irvine Long-U.S. China Institute, and its partners the School of Social Sciences, School of Law, and The Paul Merage School of Business in concert with the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, School of Humanities, School of Social Ecology, UCI Libraries, Center for Critical Korean Studies, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of East Asian Studies, and the Office of Vice Chancellor Brian Hervey.
