The UCI School of Social Sciences is proud to partner with Athena40 to host a dynamic all-female California speaker panel as part of the 2nd Athena40 Global Conversation on Female Leadership. This engaging in-person speaker panel is part of a global discussion, joining international leaders and thinkers from 10 countries spanning 5 continents on topics including:
- What progress has been achieved in the past years with regards to women in leadership in your country and region?
- Where are the major challenges and opportunities?
- Who are the real change-makers? Who are women and allies making a difference in your country?
- What have you learned from them and what actions have they taken that have changed things for the better?
- What can be done to promote diversity, inclusivity and women in leading positions?
- What does "Women's Leadership" mean to you? How do you define it and do you think there are misconceptions that need to be brought down?
- As a woman and leader in your field, what are your priorities and goals?
