Wehmeier to hold visiting professorship at the University of Cologne

Kai Wehmeier, logic and philosophy of science professor and director of the Center
for the Advancement of Logic, its Philosophy, History, and Applications (C-ALPHA),
has been named to the 2015 Visiting Professorship in Logic and Philosophy of Language
at the University of Cologne, one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious universities
in Germany. During his October stay, Wehmeier will pursue research in the philosophy
of logic and language, deliver a talk on "Identity, Coreference and Quantification,"
and teach a seminar on forms of predicate logic in Frege, Wittgenstein, Quine, and
Tarski.
