[John] Campbell, speaking by phone from a 1000-acre family farm in Kansas, sounded
content with his new life but still fully aware of what’s going on in Washington.
Besides helping oversee the farm, the former car dealer is a visiting professor of
political science at UC Irvine and is also running a real estate business.
