In the fall of 1987, a pint-sized point guard named Scott Brooks was looking for
somewhere to live in the Philadelphia area. His unwavering optimism had led him to
believe he would soon be earning a spot on the 76ers' roster, never mind that the
undrafted training camp invitee out of UC Irvine didn't quite look the part of NBA
player just yet. …Brooks, who signed a four-year, $16 million extension in the summer
of 2012 and who Barkley recently deemed "the most underrated coach in the NBA," has
guided the Thunder to a better winning percentage every season…
