“What Businesses Face When Entering the Courts in Asia and the Pacific” Feb. 10, 2014, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Judge Wallace, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, has made
substantial contributions to the advancement of the rule of law and administration
of Justice throughout the world. For over 40 years, he has worked directly with judiciaries
in over 50 countries on every continent. He developed the concept of the Chief Justices
of Asia and the Pacific and has been a participant in those conferences for more than
20 years. Judge Wallace has worked with many countries to develop judicial needs assessments
and assisted in the implementation of programs to meet their needs. This is a rare
opportunity to hear from a leading expert on foreign judicial administration.
