The study of social networks dates back to at least the early 20th century, and has been an established field for several decades.  The last ten years, however, have seen a tremendous explosion in both the pace of progress within the field, and in the number of researchers who are actively contributing to it.  The UCI Institute for Mathematical Behavioral Sciences (IMBS) presents a three-day conference to bring together researchers from a range of disciplines who are actively engaged in the modeling of behavior in and on networks using a variety of approaches.

"Behavior In and On Networks"

January 21-23, 2011
