Daniel W. Drezner is a professor of international politics at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a senior editor at The National Interest. Prior to Fletcher, he taught at the University of Chicago and the University of Colorado at Boulder. Drezner is the author of All Politics is Global: Explaining International Regulatory Regimes (Princeton University Press, 2007), which explores how and when regulatory standards are coordinated across borders in an era of globalization. His previous books include U.S. Trade Strategy: Free Versus Fair (Council on Foreign Relations, 2006) and The Sanctions Paradox (Cambridge University Press, 1999). Drezner has published articles in numerous scholarly journals as well as in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Foreign Policy, and Foreign Affairs. He has provided expert commentary on U.S. foreign policy and the global political economy for a number of news outlets and blogs regularly on foreignpolicy.com.
