A time of reunion, Lunar New Year invites celebrants to revisit familiar faces in family,
friends, and folklore. On various shores of the Pacific Ocean, this is an occasion to
reconnect with what and, more importantly, who brings us close.
Embracing this spirit, the Long US-China Institute invites you to an exciting lineup of
events, featuring talks and discussions on contemporary China and its dynamic with the U.S.,
with focus on defining political, social, and cultural influences. Click here for a full
line-up of the academic festivities, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the School of Law with a Live Sinica Podcast on
SupChina with hosts Jeremy Goldkorn and Kaiser Kuo. Also check out Lunar New Year activities
being hosted by the Department of East Asian Languages & Literatures beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the UCI Student Center, Pacific Ballroom D.
